Sex haven busted, police rescues 11 girls from GB Road (Video)


New Delhi: The city police, on Tuesday, rescued eleven girls from a brothel at capital’s red-light area GB Road, late on Monday. The city police, acting on a tip-off, conducted a raid at the suspected brothel in the area.

All the girls, in the age group of 15-18 years, were rescued from a brothel at GB Road in accordance to a tip-off provided by an NGO ‘Rescue Foundation’.

According to police, the girls belong to poor families and were lured on the pretext of being provided employment in the capital.

The NGO had informed the police that a minor girl, missing from West Bengal, was confined at Kotha No- 58 at GB Road.

A police raid was conducted and it was found that the girls were confined in a deep storage room beneath the ground to avoid any identification.

Out of the eleven rescued girls, ten are residents of West Bengal while one hails from Bihar.
